what is this considered?
story:
People i know play a set but in reality all they do is: spend several hours a couple days before, open up ableton, and throw in several songs. They line up crossfade points with some automation of volume level. when game day comes they hit play and use a Triggerfinger, to activate effects. ultimately allowing them to walk away from their screen and go to the crowd, the set list is "premixed" and has a set time.

is this considered DJ'ing?
I personally believe they are just babysitting a fancy ipod.
I am eager to know what everyone else believes.
