Karaoke for Mobile DJ CDG Player Posted on: 18.10.2011 by Janell Hin Be kind, I posted in the off topic section because I know this is a digital DJ board. I have a pair of Numark V7s but I am still learning how to use them so I run my mobile gigs off a few mixmeister laptops and use CD player as a backup / karaoke player. If I start practicing I might be able to start gigging with my turntables in a year or more. That being said, I need some reasonably reliable rack mountable CDG players that don't cost an arm and a leg. I've been researching on Google and can't find a single one under $600 that doesn't have some thread somewhere about how somebody got a few broken ones in a row and had to just get their moneys back. I bought the fabled Numark CDN 25+G off eBay and the prick sent me a broken one, only one side read disks, the side that did wouldn't light up so you couldn't see. Then I checked into it and large amounts of the numark players came from the factory without the 2nd video output working but most djs at the time ignored it because karaoke was a secondary function. Does anybody have any good insight? | |

Ethel Feigum 18.10.2011 | Sorry bro, I doubt we'll be able to help you much here. I have done karaoki once or twice, but used Virtual DJ. I used by bosses 15 year old denon cd+g player as a backup. |
