Golden Faubert 22.12.2011 | cheers guys, there's a petrol station opposite the club that was hit yesterday, however they pulled a shotgun on the security guard, im REALLY glad that wasnt the case on monday. i wouldnt have thought things like this would happen here either, especially on a monday afternoon after all of the banking had already been done lol. |
Kristofer Krauel 21.12.2011 | Actually this has been in the news recently. An old guy in manchester caught someone breaking in to his house and in the scuffle that ensued the burglar got studded and died. The old guy went to court on a murder/manslaughter charge but the judge rule he'd used "appropriate force" to defend his property and he was cleared. I believe the law has changed as a result. Something similar happened in the 90's where a farmer shot a 16yr old boy who had broken in to his cottage. The farmer got sent down for a long time though for murder. anyway @brian glad you ok man. Wouldn't have though things like that happen in Northampton!!! |

Osvaldo Newhall 21.12.2011 | Sorry to hear that. Be extra careful next time. |

Glad you came out of it fine, you never know with people like that exactly what they are on, or what they are going to do. (As honestly, most of it is usually drug-related). In my experience, unless you had cameras, not much will happen. But I don't really believe the police try hard unless they are forced by political or media. |
Golden Faubert 19.12.2011 | cheers guys, @ photojojo, im deputy manager at a evening club and bar during the week. hopefully they do get caught, nothing but opportunists, but if anyone works with cash they should be aware. We have a good idea who they were and have said to the police but got to see whether or not they act. |
Leeanna Ayla 19.12.2011 | Glad your okay. What do you do? |
Len Lukawski 19.12.2011 | Good to know you are ok. They'll try it again somewhere else and they'll get caught. |
Golden Faubert 19.12.2011 | corby in northamptonshire, i couldnt believe what i was seeing on the cctv for a moment, to be honest i was shi**ing myself, but i was lucky i suppose |
Len Lukawski 19.12.2011 | That;s pretty f*cked up mate. Whereabouts was this? |
