What's Your Favourite Cereal..?
Posted on: 23.11.2011 by nayit ruiz jaramillo
Ok im massively bored. I have 80 online Promo feedback sheets to complete and im soooo fricking bored and i thought "Ooh ill have some corn-flakes" then i thought, why not ask the gang what their fave cereal is.

My fave is pretty boring. Kellogs Corn Flakes with ice cold Skimmed Milk (no sugar, only girls put sugar on cereal:

My real fave is Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes but, well they aint so good on the old diabetes so i dont have them anymore:

Anyone tried those Krave things...? They're not all they're made out to be, sadly.

So much potential. So much disappointment.

My go to daily cereal is any plain corn cereal that is thick enough to have a good crunch and stays crunchy in the milk for a bit. My two main ones are Walmart and Publix brand corn flakes. Kellogs used to make a good one back in the day but not anymore. If I could eat and afford to eat any cereal it would be kellogs Corn Pops.

Now some may ask why the cereal king comment, well here goes. I totally love and have lived off of just cereal. Growing up my mom used to buy a gallon of milk for me and a gallon for the house (used theirs when mines ran out). When I went to college I worked for the commissary serving the university, after the first year or so got tired of eating the same thing so went on a strict cereal only diet. Breakfast, lunch and dinner that's all I ate. They probably wondered why their cereal bill was suddenly sky rocketing. Since I was a kitchen manager I helped fill the bins and fill them we did. This went on for almost two years before I started eating real food again.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it

I'd be more worried about the cream and full fat milk dude.
I know carbs arent good for T2 Diabetes (i have it) but the carbs in cereal are fibre based and can be balanced out in your diet.

In fact the irony is that the fiber in the carbs in cereal help your digestive system process the sugar.

Sorry if im preaching to to choir dude but its amazing what you learn about diabetes even after having it for years (only 2 years for me but still learning.)

With whole milk. And a splash of double cream if I'm feeling decadent. And a HUGE splash of cream if I'm pigging right out.

I don't agree at all re full fat milk. Fat folks drink skim milk in the same way fat cunts buy diet coke with their 25 piece bucket. Plus skim is just watered down full fat just like low alcohol beer is watered down real man beer. Its a lame alternative. Weaksauce IMO

Anyway. I'm all about the weetbix up in this bitch

During the working week because I leave it till the last minute to get out of bed so I always have a quick Up & Go.

Counts as cereal right?

But technically as the question was cereal, I always have a supply of Nutrigrain at home and work.
