Anyone here a lyricist/poet? Posted on: 18.01.2012 by Fredda Klarman Just out of curiosity. I used to spend a lot of time writing poems/acting like a white boy suburban thug (thank God I got over that after highschool, lmfao). Anywho, I typically freestyle and beatbox whenever I'm in the car or when my roommate isn't around (with the exception of beatboxing. Gotta be beatboxin all the time son). I haven't written anything as of late, but I've been experimenting with putting lyrics over my production work. I feel like vocalizing turmoil or personal issues is a lively and creative way to get over stupid every day bullshit. Sometimes you just gotta kick yourself in the ass to kick yourself back into gear. It's also a great way to express joy or annoy the shit out of people. Regardless, serious or not, who else on the community

| Marva Cupid 19.01.2012 | Me, I have been writing rap sorta things for about two years now, it's good fun, and it's better than keeping touchy subjects bottled up. I find if ur really angry or depressed then u write the best stuff. And I beat box where ever I go, I beat box and tap my fingers and make beats and random shit and then people start staring and then I realize I'm doing it again. |
