Reply to Winter music conference 2012

Hey folks!

As you can see, I am new to DJ Tech Tools. I was previously a member with another DJing-related community , but the positive criticism I kept hearing about this site finally persuaded me to register.

My question is regarding Winter Music Conferece. I am a college student and have Spring Break through March 18th. As such, I am planning to take a vacation to Miami Beach to experience WMC this year. My only concern is that all I keep hearing about is the Ultra music festival (in terms of performances). There are (so far unspecified) links for poolside and evening club parties, but I am questioning whether any particularly special acts will be occurring for the opening weekend.

Has anyone been to WMC for the opening weekend previously or heard otherwise and can reassure me to continue with my booking?
