I always liked classical the most. Never did Gregorian chant, though. Closest things were these weird Native American pieces that I didn't like at all.

If you like Gregorian Chant but hate the lyircs, look at the Gregorian Masters of Chant CDs from a while ago. It's not amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but it's pop songs re-written to follow the GC composition rules. Some of them are kind of enjoyable.

Maybe I've just repressed those memories hahaha. Seriously though, the priest I had when I was younger was pretty cool. Had a falling out with the church though, but that's not for this community lol no need to start that sh*tslide.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I miss it. I'm seriously considering trying out for a church chior or something (yes, the one I'm believeing has tryouts…but I believe they also pay their musicians…they're really good). There's just not a lot you can do with it once you're an adult unless you're good enough to sing for a symphony, want a singing career (I do not have a soloist's voice), or want to do musical theater.
