i hope you dont play hip-hop... could get confusing with australia's DJ Izm from Bliss n Eso

Tommi Bass is inspired from Mr Tommy Bass ..............

This Guy...

He only produced a few tracks, this one is a reall thumper. I was so, so impressed with this artist I wanted to pay homage to him also I thought his name was ultra kool.

My other Producer/Artist moniker is Mokujin this is for when I release U.K Garage.Mokujin in the Tekken series is able to change fighting style (U.K Garage is a mixture of many genres) so I thought Mokujin was a good choice. Also he can get wood. :-)

I go by Trifecta as my dubstep alias because it sounds similar to other artists in my genre, in my opinion that is important.
If some sees that DJ Headhunterz is playing at a party they know they can expect hardstyle for example.
And I also believe Trifecta just sounds awesome in general.

Oh and almost forgot I saw it somewhere in Red dead redemption back in the day when I still played a lot of xbox and it stuck with me. That's where I got it from.

Another tip on how you could find your name is writing down a couple of names of artists you like, search for a pattern and make your own that fits in that pattern and voila a name that says "hey I spin this genre, if you like it too come and check me out"

For example:

-Benga
-Koala
-Mala
-Lurka
-Synja
-Matta
-Kotcha
-Hatcha
-Nerva
-Stagga
-Skamma

Seems like the sound with an "a" at the end is quite popular in my genre and Trifecta fit perfectly, surely you could find something like this in your genre too

EDIT: And I go by Royale & Cheese as my more dnb, electro, hip hop, house,... alias. Together with a mate of course

i'm using my first initial and middle name because it was my signature. people that know me call me by first, middle or last name depending. my wife, friends and most people including my mom call me by an alias.

I used my name "Dj T3chNoPh@53" beacuse my freind in school said that I'm going through a "techno phase" beacuse I was listening to alot of EDM and Dubstep. so that's where I came up with my name.

For gigs and my productions/edits/remixes i use just my full name. (but it's very long winded).

But i'f i'm trying new stuff out in front of people i usually hand my edits and stuff out to to test waters i go by the name 'Blue Mogener' so they don't know it's me until i get a feel for what i want to do then i put it under my own name once i'm happy.

'Blue Mogener' is the name of a person that was in the fishing industry 15+ years ago right back into the early 1900's in my local town as my local town is the biggest white fish port in Europe. I'v always used it as a handle for Graphic Design work, Photography, Forums, Blogs blah blah..

You gotta let your friends decide, man!

At first I was dubbed DJ Tapeworm because I eat so much for my size. Now my friends call me "DJ Jombie" because they like Chan Sung Jung (The Korean Zombie).

Once you find a name, you will just KNOW! Have fun with it man.

I chose "Sigma" the first time I signed up to a message board, which must have been about 12 years ago. It's kinda the Greek equivalent of the letter S, which is the first letter of my real name (Steve), so I went with that as it's short and vaguely relevant, haha.

I get emails from time to time from people trying to book the D&B group Sigma for a gig or festival, lol, but I was using this name before them and I'm not changing it now.

I would also reccomend the very high tech style that already got introduced by dripstep. or if you dont use alcohol, ask your friends to just pop-up with a word and then re-arange the letters. or do an anagram of your real name or or or, invent something, there so numerous ways to come up with allkinds of silly things in this word :`)
