Reply to File permissions trouble Mac (10.6.8) please help

So I have this SD card to transport files (e.g. movie evening at a friend 's place) and just like so many of you I was living life on the edge and never safely removed my hardware.

Until today I had no issues. But today after pulling out my SD card I can't write new files or delete files. I can still open and view files tho.

What happend was by cutting power to the card the permissions altered. I need to set them back to the default.

I tried disk utilities (found a support page on the apple site) but it wouldn't allow me to reset them because I can't write new files on the SD card.

Apple then said if that doesn't work then you need to use terminal but basicly they say "If you don't know the language of computers, don't fuck around with it"

Me being desperate, I fucked around with it, carefully tho, no issues so far. But I just couldn't solve the problem. I tried like 10 commands.

What do I do ? If no one here knows then I'll call apple or something. But as everyone knows, calling tech support is not a fun way to spend your weekend.
