Just got booked for a Sunrise set!! Posted on: 03.07.2013 by Nana Mohs I just got booked to do the sunrise set of an event coming up here in Santa Fe, NM. I'm hugely excited, and, frankly, honored as can be. Us New Mexicans cherish our sunrise sets, so I'm slightly more than a little nervous about this particular gig.Anyone here have any sunrise tips? Any tunes that I have to play in the morning? I play deep/tech house, minimal and a spattering of techno. Sometimes some breaks tracks, but usually not. Any chill tunes that you guys like to bust out when the sun starts to come up? | Jorge Furber 04.07.2013 | Sunrise is usually when everyone wants to cool down and start relaxing, I would go with some melodic deep house tracks, bring people to a cloud of happiness! That's what I would do and might do in a few weeks, trying to score that time slot at an upcoming party! |
