My IKEA unit and a little something extra... Posted on: 01.10.2013 by Ryan Raczek Posted this on another community
and thought I would share it with you guys [/URL] As for the little something extra.... I wanted to spice up my DJ corner, and after exploring different options with LEDs and EL lighting, I came across this large EL equalizer strip that responds to sound. It doesn't look very cool during the day but it is an attention-grabber at evening when practicing. Nothing that crazy but it was a cheap, fun addition to the set up. Happy to answer any questions about the set-up you all may have! | |

Timika Liberato 14.10.2013 | Where did you get that EQ strip from. |
Ryan Raczek 05.10.2013 | Someone messaged me about the part list, so I though I would post it up here as well: Expedit 2x2 base: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80135298/ The lower table is this guy: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50251345/ Upper shelf here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50193732/ Legs to attach expedit to bottom shelf (you will have to buy 4 3/8x3" hex bolts and washers at a hardware store to attach the legs to the expedit unit, because the regular bolts are not long enough). You will need 2 packs (4 legs in total): http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/50173654/ Here's a picture someone posted of the longer hex bolts drilled into the expedit unit: http://i532.photobucket.com/albums/e...e/IMAG0428.jpg Legs to attach to top shelf: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20054563/ |
