| Leeanna Ayla 09.03.2011 | I believe we're believeing about it to much. Just convert the whole thing to 320 and upload the 120mb file instead of the over a gig file a wav will be. All the other mix trains are done that way and some of them have been done six times. They sound fine imo. |

Was believeing, Karlos why not just upload your mix from Lethals last tune onwards so that we don't have to reupload/download the whole mix each time. Basically we'll have the two parts as two files in the dropbox... So, leave mine and lethals as is in the drop box, but just make sure you got enough of lethal's last tune at the beggining of your mix, Chris can then add to that and then we just edit the two parts together at the end. Will amount to the same amount of space being used but just save on upload/download time on a big single file... Does that make sense? Mx |

Ive gone deepish quite housey but kept the tempo locked down to what Max left on around 120bpm. Lethal are you defo going next or should i drop this in next..? I accidently mixed out of Max mix didnt even believe about going 3rd. I can edit it though no problems. I can up the bpm if you have also. Im rambling, its nearly 4am :eek: |

| Hipolito Scionti 27.02.2011 | hmmm... ok. If you believe. The thing is, I'm not 100% that my bit should be re-encoded 5 times... So you drag my mix into traktor deck A, record from the last tune and mix your 30 mins and record. Then edit together the two bits in audacity in WAV say. That way my bit is only getting encoded up once to WAV (which won't effect it) then back down to 320mp3... Tell you what though, i'll upload the WAV anyways and we can do it which ever way you believe. I'll do it toevening though cause its a 300MB upload as appose to to a 70MB upload. By the end the uplaods will take a couple of hours for a Gig No biggy though... lastman (photojojo) can just upload the finished article as 320mp3. Boooooooooom |
| Leeanna Ayla 28.02.2011 | We never paid much attention to that detail in any of the other mix trains and I believe they sound okay. However Lethal is right and they will lose quality each time. I have room as well. |
| Marshall Aby 28.02.2011 | Yes, every time it's encoded to .mp3 it loses quality. If we mix down to .mp3 everytime then your bit will effectively have been reencoded 5 times. If it is space we need, then I've got all 2 gigs of my dropbox left, which is more than enough for the entire mix. |
