Im not posting a track list okay? Do you understand that? Do you comprehend what you are reading?

Instead you keep posting the same question 900 times, ignore it and go work on you're own music.

Listen to the mixes that i put time into. You can leave feedback or go review a different thread. Quit cluttering my thread.

Front page has been updated with new mixes, give it a listen leave feedback. If not, then see ya.
You really expect people to listen to your mixes after the way your acting?

Like Zaniac said, I do, I spend a lot of time looking for music like a lot of others on here, and your collection is as much a reflection of who you are, if not more then you wardrobe. A mix is really nothing more than a snap shot of where you are at the moment as a DJ.

I'm not afraid to show my tracklistings because it's not about what you play, but how you play them, and I know no one will be able to play them the same way I can. Not saying better or worse, just not the same, and that's what separates you as a DJ.

I do it for fun also, just don't like to share my hard listened tracks with complete strangers. I got OCD or something i guess.
Hard listened tracks...hmm... Dude, unless you're playing some white labels or dubplates, unreleased tunes and the like, your tracks aren't all that special. They could be well selected, they could be great tracks, but by letting others know what they are, they can support the artists so that the artists can devote more time to making some more good tunes. Tracklist also means higher chance of people wanting to listen to the mix, so you can hit a bigger audience. Seems like a win-win situation for all involved: DJ, audience, artists. Honestly, you're being incredibly selfish and doing a disservice to those artists whose work you merit good enough to play. Seems a bit paranoid hiding them the way you are, and while Jason's comment of maybe you just put up someone else's mix is a bit speculative, it's not outlandish due to your fervent denial to provide a list of tracks.

If & when I post a mix, without a doubt it contains a tracklist so that anyone who cares to listen can discover and enjoy the music I have collected, which at the end of the day is someone else's hard work a passion they have crafted.

it has nothing to do with wanting to steal the tracks you have, but from a listeners perspective, if they see an artist they like they will be more interested in having a listen.

Besides all that, it is common courtesy.

majority if us on here do it for a passion and hobby, so what are you afraid of? that you have the secret banger to super stardom?

It's not like you created the tracks, you just listened to them...anyone can do that. Might as well put an insurance policy on your ears then. Plus, like you said, everyone has their own personal tastes. If you posted a tracklist, people are only going to further pursue any tracks that fit into "their" taste. What the hell you are bitching about then? It has no effect on you.

Man, what a tool. Maybe the community should require a tracklist from now on. This is just utterly ridiculous. Done.

No, as in 'Wow. Who does this guy believe he is?' Everyone I know who mixes as a hobby or professionally, samples other people's tracks, or even minutely wants to share their love for music and their art, posts tracklists. I even post the game and movie samples I use. It's part of the experience, it's another way for your listeners to connect with you. The "Oh man! This guy loves THIS ARTIST too!" feeling is wonderful and a key 'binding agent' between the DJ and listener, who is hopefully a future fan. You are denying your future listeners this and pushing them away. /2cents

I don't need to provide a track list. Either you want to listen or you don't. Its not about the track list, its about creating art.

Obviously you don't want to listen so leave the thread. How hard is that to understand?

Listen or leave. Pick you're choice, stop cluttering my thread. This thread is about my mixes.

Not to hear you cry and complain over a track list.

Reasonable question. Why not post a tracklist... laziness isn't really a good reason, doesn't make you look any better... sets the precedent of making us believe it's a lazy mix and that you haven't put much care into your craft.

You should, it's a reasonable request to have a tracklist and your response to the request begs query as to why you are so against posting a tracklist. Jason's not being a douche. If anyone in this thread is, it's you.

I know it's not in the rules, never said it was. Just asking why you are so against the idea of posting something as simple as a tracklisting. No one else seems to have an issue with it except for you. Why?
Jaleesa Zheng
24.05.2012
Are you retarded? Go read the rules. Does it say anywhere its required to post a track list? No it does not. I told you, i don't need to post a track list. Accept it or not. I don't give a shit, quit being a douche bag.

My thread is a good source for people who want to listen to music, not read your gay ass comments about how i should post a track list. Go put you're time somewhere else. Since all you're doing it cluttering my thread with douche bag comments.

So you believe your thread is a waste of time now? Why should other people waste their time listening to your mix then?

Go work on you're music jason. Stop waisting you're time in my thread when you could be making you're music sound better.

I can tell you where you need help even with out listening. Need to work on your phasing better, focus on smoothing out the EQs, need to dig more and develop more original sound and style and focus on programming.

AKA, all the essentials a DJ needs to learn over time.

Lol at this whole conversation it is generally advised that you provide a tracklisting so people can:
a) look up songs they like
b) follow the mix and not get lost in transitions

no arguments about that i dont believe

This has nothing to do with you or I, it has to do with giving the artist credit where it is do. If you're just playing around in your room all day then why are you so hesitant?
