Samples Packs?
Samples Packs? Posted on: 27.03.2010 by Burl Bergesen I'm new to DJ/production and new to Ableton 8, and I'm wondering about sample packs. There are countless sample pack's available online, is it worth it to invest in one, and if so which ones are the most comprehensive? The Ableton samples seem alright for messing around with, but I don't want to end up sounding like a Ableton version of Garageband. I'm hoping to produce some of my own electro dubstep remixes, etc. Please let me know what insights you have into this topic. | |

Fransisca Bellerive 01.04.2010 | Hi, You may also check the Samplerbanks site: http://www.samplerbanks.com cheers! |
Marcel Ei Gio 28.03.2010 | yes, they are totally worth it. if you start with quality samples, you will be in good shape. check vengence sounds, goldbaby, and loopmasters. all have top quality samples and you can preview them all. find a pack or 2 that you like (that works with your genre, of course) and pick one up. i spent about 50 bucks on samples after i got live. |
