I produced a bassy track for 9 hours yesternight and woke up all dizzy Posted on: 14.03.2010 by Laraine Arceo Has this happened to anyone else? This is the second time I sit all evening with a bass heavy track and wake up feeling hungover like hell with my head spinning all over the room. My guess is the constant bass has messed with the balance membranes in my ears... Anyone? | |

Laraine Arceo 13.06.2010 | I work as a digital graphics artist and I make tracks in all my spare time so I guess not I sometimes even bring the laptop to my gfs so I can keep tweaking them filterz |
Belen Wermes 12.06.2010 | a life, yeah i read about those on the internet. where is a good place to download life torrents? |
Brandon Krugger 13.06.2010 | Hell guys, do you actually have a life? hahaha. |
Leann Zugay 12.06.2010 | I don't know man, sitting in front of a computer screen for so long will definitely mess with your balance. Last year I broke my leg and the first day I sat on my lappy for like 10 hours it felt like...Later that evening I was having terrible vertigo, my eyes weren't able to focus properly, so I went to my doc and he said staring that long does something to the eye that can affect balance etc. Said the trick is every 5 or so minutes to look around a bit , use the full rom to keep everything right |
Laraine Arceo 12.06.2010 | Yeah I actually did the same thing a couple weeks later and it happened again. I guess the constant bass messed with my inner ear and skewed my balance... felt weird, for a whole day as well |
Belen Wermes 09.06.2010 | take a break every hour or two. some people are more sensitive than others and their ears will start playing tricks on not only hearing but other bodily phenomena. i wouldn't be too alarmed, but definitely consider it as a prompt to be more kind to yourself. i believe we've all been in similar situations where we ignore bodily queues and work through it despite our personal safety and sanity ! haha play safe homey |
Mirta Follweiler 09.06.2010 | What are Cans? Headphones? |
Emilee Woytovich 09.06.2010 | could be sitting down for too long |
Laraine Arceo 15.03.2010 | Actually I'm using a for the price more than OK 2.1 set for like $120 so no monitors and no cans... I'm aiming for the KRK RP8s for next month tho so that's gonna change Koss Plugs work nicely for a good while but my old Sennheiser HD-212 headphones hurt after just 15-30 minutes... |
Harold Jaras 15.03.2010 | do work son! you working with cans or monitors? monitors may alleviate the stress on your ears if you're using cans. |

Al Henger 14.03.2010 | when I'm playing around with bassy tracks, I get a headache sometimes. But usually its not when I'm working on a full song, but instead on a specific bass line (which means looping for hours on end hahaha). |
Harold Jaras 14.03.2010 | my vote is roofies |
Harold Jaras 14.03.2010 | dunno man, i produce dubstep and haven't had that happen in.. ever. but i've been a bass junkie for as long as i can remember so |
Shana Minsk 14.03.2010 | Could also be the staring at a computer screen all day. |
