Finished Track - Record Bug in ableton?
Posted on: 14.06.2010 by Norene Roupas
Hey guys!

I've just finished a bootleg in ableton, my first. The problem is when i'm trying to arm my tracks in ableton i only get that constant BEEEEP noise.
Some ppl said that isn't wierd, so i tried to record my stuff, only thing i get out of it is that beep noise again.

Do i have som wrong preferences? Is my soundcard/computer fucked up? Or am i just doing wrong?
Those are the questions in my head.

Thanks In Advance Joan.

an new audio track in live has its input set active by default (all inputs), try setting this to no input if you're bouncing or just the active input is you're recording an external source.
things like webcams with mics built in can cause a feedback loop if they are active during recording as the sound is picked up and passed back in, giving the familiar screech of feedback.
