A desk for producing
A desk for producing Posted on: 13.07.2010 by Verona Fashbaugh I have officially utterly and completely run out of desk space. See this picture:Needless to say, desk space is at a premium right now, and as it stands my workflow is interrupted by a lack of smooth organization. Also, when I move into my house at school in a few weeks, I'm definitely not dragging my 8 ton war machine of a desk with me. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive, yet effective and efficient desk? I was also believeing about maybe building something myself (not a whole desk, but maybe just some shelves or something. I'm curious what your guys' production set-ups look like. (And yes, I realize their is a show your set up thread, but this is specific to producing ) | |

Eloy Snopkowski 16.07.2010 | based on a bass reflex speakers you need more space behind the speaker for the rear port !!! i believe its like 2 feet from the wall (maybe you wont need a sub after that) |

Breana Singerman 13.07.2010 | Just build one your self I say. You don't really need a desk per se (i.e. drawers and cabinets), so just build yourself a large work surface and that's easy enough to do. |
Verona Fashbaugh 13.07.2010 | Oops! I never as too keen on the search button. I owe you a huge favor for showing me that deal. They're awesome. |
Leeanna Ayla 13.07.2010 | Also two stands would free up a lot of room. One for the computer and one for the keyboard. |
Leeanna Ayla 13.07.2010 | Relevant thread. http://djranking s.com/community /showthr...oduction+desks Maybe if you build some type of shelf thing you could get your hands on a couple of the pullout keyboard trays to put some gear on them to keep it out of the way when your not using it. Another thought would be to get some small square tables with wheels on them that you could roll under the shelf. Put gear on them and roll the tables in and out as you need them. You can get locking casters at most any hardware store so the tables wouldn't move around as your using them. Nice speakers How are they? |
Random X 13.07.2010 | Ha! LOLz... I have it worse! (Will make pictures later this week, but I can only dream of having as much room as you do. ) |
