I would like to build up a sample library of drum hits, vocals, noises, bass symbols etc. Can anyone recommend anywhere I can get any or all of the above preferably for free of course.

thanks

I've always found that working with others and swapping what you've already got is good way to build your sample libary. A lot of people dont wanna swap or share as they believe its like some kinda magician showin whats up his sleeve shit, but fuck that. I used to beat battle on website sites like warbeats.com and swap and share stuff with others, its a good way for me to build my sample libary and gain more knowledge etc.

If you ever want trade some sample pack etc hit me up I dunno what styles your into but im sure i'll have a lil something worth a trade.

Also, even though the name suggests a bunch of breakbeat samples, there's a range of styles actually... house, trance... you name it.

And here's the link to the collection of single-shot drum samples:

It is just that when originally included in the product pages had several wav files, for example, next to the plates, they were selling. I always found that teamwork and change what you have already received a great way to build your sample library.

It is not really a free samples page. It is just that when I originally included it, the product pages had serveral wav file example next to each of the cymbals they were selling. Which seemed sort of free in the context of the actual product being a cymbal.

Loopmasters.com is by far the best site for sample packs in my humble opinion. They are all cut into perfect loops in .wav formats, large variety of genre and tool packs and if you sign up on their site every single one of their sample packs has a demo pack you can download and sample to see if you like it or not.

Zenhiser.com is really good to, they have smaller sample packs you can buy and as such they are cheaper. You can pay less than $10 and just get a variety of snares for example. I usually go here if I'm looking for specific hits instead of buying a larger sample pack with a lot of stuff I don't want or need.
