How to connect 2 laptops to 1 stereo. Posted on: 17.10.2010 by Buddy Trial Hi everyone.Me and my friend have been producing together over a year now, but we still have 2 problems: 1) We both have our own laptops and our own Audio 2 DJ soundcards and we use a pair of Technics stereo speakers as monitors. The problem is, that the amplifier has only 1 input, so we can't use the speakers simultaneously. The only thing I could imagine is maybe a small mixer that could help? I would really appreciate it if someone knew a specific product or an article that could help. 2) What is the simplest way to sync our sequencers?I use Reason and FL, he uses just FL and we spend countless minutes on trying to sync by hand. I've tried many different programs that should sync over wifi, but nothing has even remotely worked. I've heard that there is some specific hardware for transmitting MIDI clock, but again, I don't know exactly what and where to search. Please halp | |

DO NOT be tempted to connect a speaker output to a computer recording interface. |
Leeanna Ayla 17.10.2010 | There's also that little mini micro 5 Vestax mixer that they had at BPM. |
