Gina Promes 02.11.2010 | ask girl talk what he believes about samples |
Leonardo Papajohn 30.10.2010 | Sample all you want, if a label really wants to release your track, they will do what they can to clear the sample.. if not release it free and get more recognition. Anyways, good question.. I have been wondering the same. |
Georgine Thanos 30.10.2010 | I love how no one answered his question. |

Stephanie Greaves 13.08.2010 | I have read many posts from there and all of them are interesting to read out and contain very useful informatoin for the readers and I hope you will keep up the good work in future as well. |
ma7md hany 17.01.2010 | You have to clear every single sample you use in a song theroetically. In practise, nobody is going to notice that short sample from that obscure song. Just edit the samples you use so that no one can track down the original track and you won't have any legal problems |
Fernande Jada 13.01.2010 | this is a quite interessting read bout this issue; http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=1414 like icecream cheerz |
Carolyn Rembert 12.01.2010 | ehhh .... I sample whatever whenever regardless ... imma OUTLAW! but don't tell nobody though haha |
Laurel Litchko 12.01.2010 | neh, all samples have to be cleared. i wish that were the rule though! thanks anyway man! =D |
Carolyn Rembert 12.01.2010 | Exactly. I believe legally you can use up to 4 seconds of a song without having to pay royalties ... i believe. |
Xavier Emanuels 22.11.2009 | Don't sample other peoples music, it just creates hell if you actually want to sell your tunes. Grab royalty free sample cd's instead based on the genres you want to produce |
