Did a realtime remix (inc video), DJ Tim - S&M (HouseQ Extended)! Posted on: 26.03.2011 by Lynetta Piacentino I did a realtime/live remix of an awesome track from Rihanna. Before continue to read ---> A movie tells more then thousands...images (and even more words )Check out (and afterwards read more below) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzYZGRMr1vk Info posted on Youtube: -- Live remix of Rihanna - S&M!! Not only live remixed, but also a live view on my gear while recording this! It was the first try recording this on the fly, of course some samples where prepped before starting this movie, but still everything else is performed 'live'! Also note that I didn't prep a mix-set, so the order of the sampling etc is just while being creative on the fly, yeah! The software used is Traktor Pro together with my Akai APC40, Akai APC20, DDM 4000, 2 screens, Camtasia recording the screen, webcam and more IT shit The counter track (more its samples I've cut) you're hearing the bass from is Jordan Peak - Body Double. Let me know your thoughts on this live performance ? -- | |

Verona Fashbaugh 28.03.2011 | Cool. I don't particularly care for the original song, but I believe you did a nice job here. I'm curious why you used both an apc40 and an apc20? I'm assuming you used one or both of them to trigger cue points? Also I thought at times the other vocal sample you used clashed with the rihanna vocals, but at other times it worked well. Nice job though. Always like to see people doing 'live' remixes like this. |
