What do you mean by lack of sync-able options? You can sync the LFOs etc VERY easily (as in clicking on "sync") and then if you need to 'sync' anything else you can just use and drawn your own automations to make it sync.

Please don't be a slave to the sync button. There's enough of them about!

The same could be said for any additive synth out there then.

True that man, two chords with the wrong preset and all CPU will go gooey.

I'm sure razor will be a cool synth. But as far as dubstep goes, no need to jump on it. Massive is more than enough, then there's albino and sylenth. I believe i'll wait for komplete 8.

Razor is fantastic, very easy to use but yes not very light on CPU. the best thing is the GUI. Extremely simple to use and soooo beautiful!

I've been using the lazerbass plugin in my last few tracks/remixes - you can get some amazing sounds out of it, much more than just dubstep wobbles lol.

This Razor is based on the same type of synthesis used in lazerbass, but it looks like a much more refined and thought out version of it.. and at only 69 euros.. eek! I'm very tempted by it!

Might dabble with it, depends on the work flow for me. Never been a fan of dubstep, but I do like a number of the sounds they use and raw aggressive feel it has.

found someone who saw it in action. he told me it defenitly not a new Massive.

23.03.2011
nah. it's based on reaktor, so it's probably going to be a successor to laserbass.

really look like a bigger version of Massive. I just hope its not the same

I dig the imagery. Sounds...who knows. I'm sure I'll buy it, I'm sure it will be over used for a while. Like everything else, it's what you do with it that matters.
