Reply to So a sick as tune pops into your head one day...

You're in your car on the other side of town listening to the radio and all of a sudden you get the BEST EVER idea for a song, you can hear it playing in your head and you can imagine a crowd or a club going absolutely insane to your track, but the problem is it's only in your head right now.

You can perfectly hear all of the kicks, synths, hats, vocals and bass working perfectly smoothly in your head, but you want to get it down and make it into a track, and not just any track, but the track IN YOUR HEAD.

So how do you go about remembering this tune between the time you imagine it and the time you're sitting in your studio with your DAW open and putting it together? Is it possible? Do you have any techniques?
