Reply to How do you store your samples?

I've had my MBP for about a month now and have already used over half my HDD storage. A bit of further investigation shows that a lot of this is samples, loops and the like I use for production. I'm in the middle of a spring clean and trying to arrange my files in some sort of logical order but can't figure out a good way of doing it!

So my question is.... how do the patrons at DJTT organise all their samples and how much is considered too much?
