Maybe I'm just dumb, but is it possible to use massive to record live loops in traktor? if so how can i set it up?

For PC there's Jack and VAC. Vac being the best choice. More stable, less latency.

THANKS guys, Ive pretty much figured out my issue, few more tweaks and i should be good to go. But I'm sure ill be back on here begging for help in no time.

If you are Mac-based, you could use Soundflower, Jack, or Rewire to pass audio from one application to another. Google around a bit.

yeah i thought of that, but Id like to be able to use my macro controls in massive in a live setting, and be able to play with them on the fly. If I could find a way to rout the output of massive into one of traktor's live inputs (which I dont know if is even possible) that would be perfect. I wish there was a way to just use it as a plugin

Get audiojack or another soft routing program (routing would be similar to the traktor>ableton setup so watch those vids as reference) if you want to do it internally, or just use a free I/O of your soundcard.

why not create loops with massive in ableton or another DAW and then export them and use them as samples in TP2?

thats how id do it? or just use a DAW over traktor.
