How to Go about Releasing an EP with Remixes
How to Go about Releasing an EP with Remixes Posted on: 11.06.2011 by Shelia Rozales Hey guys,My friend and I have been producing electro bangers together for about two years now and we recently got signed with an emerging label that can put our tracks on beatport. We decided that we wanted to release an EP, but our label doesn't have a lot of producers (not a single electro one) and we wanted to get our sound as well as our name out there. I was wondering if anyone here had any advice on how we could approach artists and ask them to do a remix for us. How does this work? How do we arrange payment? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks. | |

Lorina Eidsness 13.06.2011 | i'll do it ^.^ http://www.soundcloud.com/dj-dark-grey |
Shelia Rozales 12.06.2011 | Thanks! |
Breana Singerman 12.06.2011 | Send an email and see if they are interested, simple enough. The bigger guys usually have a flat fee they'll do it for though, but depending on who it is they might just take a bigger cut of the sales. |
