im using ableton and loops,i switched the loops i have from arrangement view into the clip view but the soundwaves are still in the arrangement view, i wanna still hear it in arrangement view but can't. whys that? and how do i set the loops in clip view to play just like in arrangement view in the same order?

Try pressing the overdub button to turn off overdub (its the red button at the top of the picture below...)

When you have an arrangement, and then trigger clips (without the record button armed) you will be playing from Clip View mode. To go back to listening to your arrangement, press the overdub button. Hope this helps

If you press play then the arrange view clips will play until you trigger a different clip instead of the one playing in the track.... Clip mode is called session mode to use ableton language... Your probably best looking into follow actions and understanding the difference between the two modes as they are designed for very different purposes...
