It's similar in function but has different effects and different methods of editing/arranging those effects. Same with Gross Beat.

I wouldn't say it's "better", it's just does it differently.

I love dblue Glitch, except that the #4 randomization effect (green) seems to be inconsistent. I was asked to send an unmastered copy of one of my tracks to a label, and when I loaded up the project... It didn't sound the same. I glitched the bassline, and now it was glitching it... differently.

I don't know how it generates that randomization, but it's poorly coded.

I've enjoyed both Stutter Edit and Gross Beat so far, but haven't worked with them quite as much.

I started using it with Downlinks suggestion, however with that suggestion came the move to OSX where dBlue has not been ported.

SugarByte is a decent substitution!

dBlue glitch is an awesome free plug-in. I used to use it when I still had a PC.

No Mac version.

Definitely recommend it.

I have it, but haven't used it on any of my newer tracks. It's really cool to use to give it a awesome break from repetition, or a random change, pretty simple to use and customize, and cool to make your own sequences from the presets. It has a gate (the stutter), a rewind, a tape style stop, and a few other cool effects. And it's free. Give it a shot, I loved it. Sadly, Cubase Elements isn't allowing the GUI to show up for whatever reason. So I can't really have fun with it unless I use FL.
