Ableton DJ prepared track organization.

So I have a library of about 400-500 Tracks that I would like perfectly prepared for DJ'ing in Ableton. It takes a pretty good amount of time to Warp the track perfectly, Split the track into song segment clips, manually key the clips and color code / rename everything! I am wondering if anyone has some suggestions for organizing all these tracks on my hard drive!

After breaking tracks down into song segment clips, I select all the clips, and drag them to a folder in the browser. Ableton saves the clips into a .als but doesn't to move the corresponding mp3 / wav / analyses file! I tried moving the mp3 in the same folder as the .als with all my clips, but ableton is of course looking for the wav file it created from the mp3...

How do you guys organize your warped cropped key'd tracks for djing with ableton?

Polybius, I agree, it seems like this is the best way to do it. I have been working on my prep set for a couple days now, I find it very rewarding to prepare these tracks, since it takes a couple of listens all the way through to get them perfect, I find myself becoming very familiar with the tracks now! Thanks for the collect and save advice.

Hard drive space these days is so cheap it is practically free,!I have a 750GB in my macbook pro , 2 x 1 Tb in my desktop, and 2 x 2 Tb in my Server

i do my djing with ableton.
here is my advice. prepare to use vast amounts of HD space hahaha.
currently i'm working on preparing all my tracks.
what I recommend you to do is to create a project that will be your SONGS project. here import warp, color code, group classify all your tracks. then use the collect all and save option to save your project. this will enable you to have a project with all your songs warped and coded that is ready to use on any computer without having to save all your original song.
the downside is that you use a lot of drive space

While I appreciate the advice, my problem is not in the number of tracks, but in the way they are stored. I am not going to limit my collection just because of how much work it is! I am willing to do the work.

Anyways, I found that the problem fixed itself on my mac, For some reason, now when I drag clips into a browser, it moves the cropped samples with them! Thats what I needed!

Now comes the boring part...

I'd suggest NOT to DJ 500 songs with ableton. Find the songs you're most likely to use and cut it down to maybe 50. When you got that bread and butter going, then you might add some more, but considering all that work each track requires keeping it small is probably key.
