FLoops
FLoops Posted on: 29.08.2011 by Mindi Spitzig Ok, no beef but why? is it just me or does FL just seem like a second rate piece of software. Dont get me wrong it seems to be great for beginners but I know some big producers use it. I guess im just curious to see who in here uses it and why specifically? Feel free to add your thoughts. | |

Matthew Urtel 31.08.2011 | just you. VSTs, and Soundpacks are what make the difference now days. to be honest I use LMMS, which is a free knock-off of FL...and it works just fine. I also use NI Maschine. |

I haven't used anything else before but what is there about FL studio that's holding you back from producing something as quality as you could in Ableton or PT or Logic etc? It's more about the person behind the DAW than the DAW itself. |

Maricruz Mouw 29.08.2011 | beginners get it because its easy to get and they end up learning it and becoming so comfertble with it that they become pro's see feedme porterrobinson laidbackluke etc |
Fredda Klarman 29.08.2011 | I'm an amateur producer but I've used flstudio since I was 10, so I'm pretty used to the interface at this point. I'm ready to try some other programs, but I have seen potential in fl. I believe that it's heavily dependent on the music that you produce. I have a friend that makes amazing psydub. It pisses me off when I see his production methods and I find them difficult to apply to producing house, but regardless; the sound he makes is definitely professional. |
