Help to Choose an audio-interface

hello fellas , I need some help about wich audio interface it is the best for my home studio , after search and read some reviews fron many of them , Im still without decide what's better for me , thats why some help from any of you would be great . This are some models I been waching on the web , what you believe.

*Steinberg....CI-1 (this one looks great but I got no idea if works with Ableton-Live , or just with steinberg software)
*Tascam....US-144MKII
*MAYA44 USB
*M-AUDIO....Fast track MKII USB
*LEXICOM.......LAMBDA
*Focusrite......Saffire 6 USB

By the way , Im gonna work with a MAC-BOOK Intel core 2 duo-2 GB RAM ,Ableton-Live to create electronic music.
I will thanks any opinion from you.

Depends what recording needs you have, you might not even need an interface

i too have heard great things about the focusrite!!

coldfuzion - hows the komplete audio 6 workin out for you? ive been contemplating getting it

I just bought a Komplete Audio 6. It's not too pricy, and it does the job well. I personally really like it.
