Fl Studio to Ableton
Fl Studio to Ableton Posted on: 12.09.2011 by Glennis Bischoff ok, so. i love producing sounds and drum loops in FL studio. i would like to play each part as clips in ableton (With my APC 40) though. i could record everything in the sampler of ableton, one sound at a time. but this is very tedious and not the best way (i hope).is there any way to put pieces into ableton from FL studio. i have FLS 9 and Ableton APC edition, up to date. | |

Glennis Bischoff 13.09.2011 | i was believeing that too, but i was hoping for a bit more controll... but this seems to be a tough issue to crack. anyone know what you can do with rewire? ive not looked into that |
Brent Dierken 13.09.2011 | You can use the slice to midi function in ableton to slice up your audio clip into chunks Its also pretty easy to slice up an audio file into separate clips in ableton you could just chain all of your clips together into one track and then cut that up in ableton. |
Glennis Bischoff 13.09.2011 | that could help, but im looking to try and get individual parts of the song to be playable as clips. drums seperate from bass etc... or atleast split the entire song into sections so its not one long clip. the goal is to play fruity loops songs with my APC 40 controller and keep lights feedback. maybe even trigger just the patterns of fruity loops with the APC 40 |
Brent Dierken 13.09.2011 | You can split the mixer tracks when you export audio from FL so you have a separate wav for each channel. Is that the sort of thing you need? |
