It's better to have a few core VSTs that you know inside and out than have dozens you have no idea to use. You'll learn the ins and outs of sound-design a lot quicker if you go this route, and the skills will eventually be transferrable to any VST you want (Though each vst has its own learning curve and features, most are shared). |

s, warbeats, fl studio guru, random tutorials here and there on youtube.. fl studio is great (been using it for 7 years) not to sound ridiculous, but always remember that you are the very best resource you could have experiment: use the riff machine, grossbeat, waveshaper plugin, sytrus, toxic biohazard, poizone, etc. fl studio comes with some project files so check those out in order to get used to fl studio and you might find projects of whatever you listen to, fl tudio is quite popular and many people release fl studio projects for fun. |

Bettye Thuy 28.11.2011 | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPxIk-nJvT0 This guy has amazing videos and takes you from the absolute basics to getting familiar with the DAW- and you can buy an entire couple DVDs full of useful tutorials for cheap if you follow his links. I'd suggest that + The Dance Music Manual by Rick Snoman, which will give you a primer on sound design, effects, theory, and an overview of genres which are applicable to any DAW. |
Sarai Suchman 28.11.2011 | its probably because of a pebkac error...dont worry it happens to me sometimes :P |
Kesha Pietrak 28.11.2011 | lmao *facepalm* why didnt I believe of that |
