Reply to Is analog gear really needed to make the "Full round sound"

Hi guys,

I have been talking to a few producers about whether or not you really need old samplers/synths/compressors etc to make a track sound full and round??

What are your views?

I like to make groovy tech house and funky techno but i cant seem to get my tracks sound as full and round like other producers.

I started to wonder if i need to invest in some analog gear to push my sound to the next level....

I would be interested in your thoughts.
