Reply to What should i do??

Hey Guys!

I'm looking for some suggestions about my situation here. Let me give you some background. For about a year now, I've been working in torrented versions of Ableton Live, some VST's, and samples. I wanna start from scratch, and buy everything, so i can begin to do things commercially. I have a midi keyboard, and honestly, that's all i want, so i'm set for hardware. I'm a student, so i qualify for educational discounts for LIVE. I've also considered switching to logic, since it is a little bit cheaper, and has some better built in instruments. My budget is about $400, maybe a bit more. So my question is, which one of these scenarios is best, or is there a better way to go than i already lay out...

1: Buy ableton Suite, that's all.
2: Buy Live (not suite version) and then get one or two synths, like maybe Synplant, and ANA by sonic academy.
3: Switch to Logic, and get Sylenth1. (If so, could someone suggest Logic tutorials, willing to pay, preferably for beginners, since i'll be new to Logic.
4: Other...

My favorite artists are those such as Avicii, Laidback Luke, or Hardwell, and i like to produce styles such as those. A good example of something for me is the Jaywalker remix of "Wild one Two."
