Best 303 Emulators
Best 303 Emulators Posted on: 22.05.2012 by Verona Fashbaugh Hey guys,I'm looking to buy a 303 VST. Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards D16 Group Audio Software's PHOSCYON. For $75, it's not a bad deal. I just thought I would ask if you guys had any suggestions. By the way, I'm running OSX. So Rebirth 338 is not an option . | |

But I really like the sound and how it works (notes sent into it choose patterns, which it stores…or you can just play it by passing midi notes into it) and sounds. I read/listened to a shootout at some point and ABL2 seemed to win that one both in the ears of the author and in mine. I'd recommend that one. |

Rochel Gleese 04.06.2012 | sorry I meant ABL Could be cool in one big plugin. I've got ADM and ABL both great plugins It's coming, he's said so in his community s. Wish he'd hurry up with Mac64bit versions of the plugs but he said its not that simple as the way he originally made them used some older osx coding frameworks |
Dorie Scelzo 04.06.2012 | ADM isn't a 303. And a single plugin that does what Technobox2 does would be pointless…he's already got plugins that do each individual part…all that's missing is the performance screen, which is really just a compromise for "performing" stuff with an iPod/iPad because it takes so long to get between screens……which wouldn't come up in a production environment and is more easily solvable in a live environment using real MIDI controllers. I'm not saying you're wrong……but it's effing pointless. |
Rochel Gleese 04.06.2012 | Audio realism ADM but he's also realising Technobox as a plugin soon which is pretty cool |
Nedra Fresneda 31.05.2012 | @mostapha: play with the slide and time buttons. slide will link the current step with the next one. |
Dorie Scelzo 31.05.2012 | Obviously the core concept. |

Cristian Carmona 22.05.2012 | ive been believeing the same thing, gonna look to see if they have any reaktor patches. |
Georgina Schatzman 22.05.2012 | I know it's not what you're looking for exactly, but Rob Papens Predator has been good to me as far as getting some acid-esque/303 sounds. Might be something too look into as the price point isn't that much more than $75 plus it does loads more as well. Really good synth that I find myself going back to time and again for lead/rhythm lead sounds. |
Nedra Fresneda 22.05.2012 | http://www.audiorealism.se/abl2/index.htm Not the cheapest but it's what has given me best results. |
