Ableton online courses
Posted on: 17.06.2012 by Regan Berzin
Hi

I'm sick to death of looking through you tube and want to get myself a structured online course in Ableton. I've been with Sonic Academy for a while and even though its good, its not great. I would love to do a course with dubspot but I just don't have that sorta cash! So looking for something affordable.

Who/What sites do u guys recommend?

cheers

I've not looked at either in depth, but both Vespers & Tom Cosm lay things out pretty clearly. I'm not quite into either style of music they focus around personally, but if you can believe abstractly they are probably both worth looking into.

So your problem is not producing with ableton, your problem is producing better quality tracks. That is a different story there.

I would say learn music theory, to improve your workflow and get things easier? Because there are no set rules in EDM. You have to experiment a bit.
