Reply to MPC500 + Audacity?

Is anyone using this combination? I'm trying to build a sample based production workflow using the sequencer of the mpc and the software of audacity to edit and tweak my samples but I'm new to production and can't find any well done or up to date tutorials on how to get started really using this stuff. and honestly its pretty daunting. Can anyone help me out? just trying to turn some ideas into good music
