Reply to Synthesizer Routing

Im setting up my synthesizers and right now i have the Juno 106 communicating with ableton fine both ways and I would believe by just running another wire from the midi thru to the kurzweils in i would have everything up and running smoothly but the kurzweil synth isnt reading any midi from the junos midi thru. Cant anyone help me out this is how i have it set up:

Interface out -> Juno in
Juno thru -> Kurzweil in
Juno out -> interface in.
