Reply to Recording a Violin, tips??

Well my cousin aasked if I would record him and his friend playing some stuff they had made together, what i didn't know was that his friend plays the violin.. Now i'm gonna go search the interwebs after this post, but i just thought i would put this up here and see if you guys had any tips or links..
