Reply to FL Studio or Ableton; mix creation?

I'm not doing 100% production yet, but I am perfecting my mixes via FL Studio. Are there features in Ableton which would make my life way better for production or is FL studio fine? The question is, is preference really the issue or is it performance. Can FL do everything Ableton can in terms of production? Thank you.
