Need Help on producing a Jackin bassline
Posted on: 11.01.2013 by Tessa Gerou
I am seriously dying on trying to perfect this but Ive had trouble trying to get the right sound. Im trying to make the bassline like this New Hannah wants tune, its a pretty common sound in the jackin genre but Ive had no luck on making it. Im working on ableton and I have massive, sylenth, and albino 3. I know you dont really need vst's but unfortunately i dont have a moog so im trying to do what I can.

Heres the tune, the sound im trying to make starts at 1:12

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Similar to this sound too. I have been working on making a similar bassline. Its definitely got a sine in there. Im assuming its heavily compressed and distorted to sound big. Probably exported a bunch of times to get the layers on there.
