Reply to Starting out in trance production, few questions?

I have been reading about producing and what to learn in order to get a grasp of the basics first.

Can anyone tell me what I should be learning. I want to learn each bit separately.

Someone told me that i should learn how to make a baseline first then move onto introducing claps and kicks??

Maybe a list of what i should learn first would help.

Can anyone advise?
