Reply to DAW recomendations

Hello everyone,
I just bought a Traktor S4 and still learning how to use it and map it the way I want to. I like to mix a lot of Deep and Tech House but at times, I wish I could use my own music. I am really wanting to start producing my own music.I've been looking at Ableton. Can anyone give me some advice on which way to go before I spend money on software.
