Engaging Modes, Play Disabled

I'm not sure what I have done here, but for some reason my play buttons don't work and when I load a track and just touch the platter the track starts playing. The play buttons will not stop the track from playing.

Please tell me it is a simple solution. Thanks.

I have watched all the videos related to the vci-100se. I'm just posting what I did to resolve my problem. Whether it is necessary or not to this community is not relevant to my situation when I have corrected the problem on my own.

Having said that, thanks for the advice not just on this post but all advice you have shared with djranking s members and the internet at large.

Yes, thanks Ean, I did get the modes sorted and I was able to repeat the same effect. I'm still not sure how I ended up in Juggle mode the first time since I hadn't tried the feature at the time this occurred. I understand the juggle mode now and it will be exciting for me to learn how to incorporate this into my dj sets with out going over board on "trickery".

No problem, its important that people dont believe they have to re-boot their vci-100s to get certain functions to work. Did you get the modes sorted out? I would be curious if you engage juggle mode and that creates the same effect you had before.

Dumb question, but how or what mode section? Plus, I have tried hitting the juggle button to change it but nothing happens.

**UPDATE**
I rebooted the laptop and reset the firmware on the vci. This seems to have solved my problem.
