Either laptop or soundcard?
Either laptop or soundcard? Posted on: 24.08.2008 by VALERY STAR Hi all!Recently I bought a VCI 100 midi controler and am having problems with playing. The thing is, whenever I play a track it gets periodicly interrupted. I tried changing latency in both traktor and in software of my soundcard but it`s no use. I`m using an Acer aspire laptop: AMD Turion 1.6GHz,1GB DDR2, ATI Radeon X1600 128MB, 120GB HDD and a Presonus firebox SC. Any help please? I`m desperate | |

Cristian Carmona 28.08.2008 | Set ur latency to the highest setting, and work ur way down until the music plays w/o pops, cracks, or stopping. I would do it while mixing 2 tracks, running fx and loops |
VALERY STAR 28.08.2008 | Sorry for the short response, but where exactly can I set my time stretch quality or see it in the first place? I know it`s a typical newb question though |
Red Sonya 25.08.2008 | Just a guess: what is your time stretch quality set to ? Your CPU wouldn't be able to cope with the best quality. |
