Reply to Question about removing overlays

Hi,

Today is a happy day for me because I received both a DJ TT overlay and a VCI 100 in the mail!


Here's my question. The product information says the overlays are removable. But will they leave any residue at all?

I ask because I wonder if I should test and confirm the VCI 100 is working 100% before I apply the overlay. Normally it wouldnt be an issue but I'm traveling tomorrow and it would be a lot easier for me just to apply the overlay before I get on a flight.

It's a B-stock VCI, which has a warranty, but if anything is wrong with it I believe it would be hard to return if there were any glue residue left on the enclosure.

Any advice greatly appreciated!
