BPM seems to halve when importing tracks. Posted on: 19.01.2010 by Alba Zahorik Hi All,I often get this issue whereby when importing a new track the BPM is 00000 in the crate and when loaded it is often half what it should be (e.g. it should state 140BPM but says 70BPM) and so won't sync even though the pitch itself has changed on playback, with some messing around it is corrected but it isn't right and I am unable to resolve this. The strange thing is that because the BPM is roughly half when I hit SYNC the pitch fader goes to the max and the tune plays back faster than it should as though it want to go faster but has run out of pitch as it is going by the numbers. If anyone has encountered this and has advice it would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Matthew | |

Gregory Finely 19.01.2010 | Hit x2 and it will double normally to the correct bpm, then try and grid it, to be honest there has been lots of the same question on here I would suggest doing a search on beatgrids or bpm, if not then i believe there is a tutorial covering the subject, and if you want to have all the answers then definately buy the traktor bible |
