i'm thinking about the vci100se
i'm thinking about the vci100se Posted on: 13.02.2010 by Nikki Mcpeek hey whats up. first post. i have decided at first because of my low budget i would save up 1300 bucks up to get the new xone:dx + serato. but now i decided to go with the vci100se + traktor.my goals are to re-spin minimal house tracks. and take 7-10yrs to practice or however long it takes to re-spin minimal house tracks and become as good as richie hawtin and maybe be hes replacement one day, who knows. but i'm willing to learn whatever i have to learn in order to be on his level. i'm 23yr. 24 in march, so maybe by the time i reach 33yr or before, i will be godlike w/ the vci100se and ready to start performing in clubs. use it where ever i go to spin. throughout the years of practicing if start feeling limited to some things i want to do, then maybe i would spend time towards searching into other friendly tools that would be compatible with the vci100se. because of my low budget i'm sure i will be able to purchase the vci100se sometime around may or june. at this moment i'm only doing three things. 1. listening to the tracks over and over (minimal house) 2. i purchase about 1 track a week from beatport. 3. i'm saving up cash for the 100se i want to know, is there anything else i will need to get in order to get the 100se to function properly when i do order it? i want to know this information ahead of time so i can know how much money i will need. thanks in advance. | |

Nikki Mcpeek 13.02.2010 | wait i'm savin up money for the 100se, not the regular one. so for the 100se, would i need just the flash the firmwire? to get it to work and everything |
Tanesha Nigbur 13.02.2010 | In your circumstance, you may want to seek out a standard vci-100 and flash the firmware. That would require additional modification but I believe it would save you a few hundred dollars. As you get funds you can upgrade your controller with overlays, knobs, arcade buttons, etc. - As for music, that will come in time. Also, the vci-100 may not survive 10-years, please plan accordingly. Good luck. |
