Help: Timecode + VCI-100se = disaster! I know this has come up before but I'm wondering if there is any solution, and I'm not sure whether the culprit is the NI software or the VCI-100 tsi. Basically, I want to use my VCI-100se AND my turntables, in either internal or external mode, with timecode vinyl. The problem is that if a deck is in timecode mode and I accidentally touch the jog wheel, the whole system goes crazy for a few seconds, the song speeds up unnaturally and it's just a massive mess. Is there any way around this? (besides the obvious, don't touch the jog wheel) Does this happen with other controllers and tsis or just this one? Is there a way to map the tsi so that if I touch the jog wheel in timecode mode, the deck switches to internal mode but doesn't go nuts? Any other workarounds people have come up with? It's way too easy to accidentally touch the platter, especially if you're mixing internally and you're used to playing on the vci. Thanks! | |
